MILWAUKIE, OR (December 7, 2007) – Consonus Healthcare Services, a leading provider of rehabilitation, pharmacy, staffing and consulting to the long term care industry, today announced that Teri Ferreira has joined the company as General Manager of Consonus Institutional Pharmacy in Redmond, Washington. In this position, Mrs. Ferreira will be responsible for day to day operations of the Washington Long-Term Care Pharmacy.
Ferreira joins Consonus Healthcare from The Everett Clinic where she was the Director of Pharmacy and Retail Operations, overseeing four pharmacy clinic locations. While in this position, amongst other accomplishments, she implemented technology systems to improve workflow and reduce errors. She also co-developed and implemented an online QA system to identify, evaluate and correct near misses and adverse events. “Consonus feels like the next logical step in my evolution,” says Teri, “I’ve been impressed with the increased service benefits of working with a paperless system and I’m excited to initiate electronic medical records (EMR) with our customers.”
